He has played all of his football in sunny Tenerife, and even though it was sunny at Blyth, he was dressed for the winter.
God only knows how he will survive in December!
The Spanish winger admitted that he did not know a lot about Blyth but said he was impressed by the Spartans set-up and more importantly the beach.

“Clubs in Spain who play at a similar level don’t have facilities like this and I am pleased to be here watching the club.
“I didn’t realise that there was a beach or that it would be so nice, and it is different to where I am from, but it is beautiful.
“I am happy to be here and I can’t wait to run out at St James’ Park and see how the atmosphere is there because I have heard so much about it.
“I can’t wait to experience the atmosphere of a full on, full St James’ Park in a Premier League game.”
