The Welshman has received a three-match ban and as a result will miss the home and games against Bayer Leverkusen, having already missed the trip to Barcelona.
The club has until Saturday to appeal, but with Bellamy having served one suspension for violent conduct in the competition already they will probably feel that he got off lightly.
