Following the departure of Gary Bowyer from Blackburn, Sky Bet have seen relentless money for Paul Lambert to fill the void at Ewood Park.
He opened up at 10/1 but within a couple of hours the former Villa manager is down to 1/10 to get the job.
David Moyes, who was sacked by Spanish side Real Sociedad on Monday, is one of the other names in the betting to replace Bowyer.
The former Manchester United and Everton boss was initially installed as 6/1 second favourite but is now 13/2.
Moyes is ahead of Tim Sherwood (16/1), Ian Holloway (20/1), Sean O'Driscoll (20/1), Alex McLeish (20/1), Uwe Rosler (20/1) and Nigel Pearson (20/1).
Both Moyes and Pearson would be a more popular choice than Steve McClaren.
Saturdays win over Bournemouth, although a very welcome three points, has just papered over the cracks.
The display was a shambles.
