"Newcastle fans have not seen the best of me, there is no doubt about that," said Titus.
"I've not played enough games and then, when I was getting into some form, the hamstring went.
"I've been out for so long I suppose my return will feel a bit like having a new signing coming into the club.
"I'm determined to be a success at Newcastle and all I want to do is have the opportunity to do that.
"Hopefully I can finally start to make my presence felt and begin a successful career at the club."
Titus will be in the squad for Wednesday’s game with Bolton, but after Saturday’s clean sheet it remains to be seen whether or not he will make an appearance.
