The former Ipswich man has made a full recovery from the hamstring problem he has suffered since February 22 and there is a chance the defender could be back to face Spurs on Saturday.
The news will come as a major boost to Glenn Roeder, who is already missing the services of Celestine Babayaro and Steven Taylor, while Peter Ramage has been filling in at the heart of the defence.
Roeder: "Titus will be back in training on Thursday morning and that's very good news. Whether he will be able to play against Tottenham, we will just have to wait and see. We will be able to get two days of training into him before the game and then we will have to see how he is."
Meanwhile, Celestine Babayaro is still facing a further fortnight on the sidelines after a scan revealed that he has suffered a slight tear to his thigh muscle.
