Newcastle's summer signing from Hull was a target for criticism despite his side's win against Barnsley.
He's the man who secured Hull City's promotion back to the Premier League just five months ago, but Mohamed Diame continues to struggle at new club Newcastle United.
Dropped for Saturday's win against Brentford, having failed to score in any of his eight Newcastle appearances, Diame was restored to Rafa Benitez's starting eleven at Barnsley on Tuesday night.
And though the team as a whole impressed in South Yorkshire - winning 2-0 to leapfrog Norwich at the top of the Championship - Diame continued to struggle.
The Senegal international, it seems, was unable to silence his detractors, who were out in force on Twitter both during and after the match.
And their feedback doesn't make for pleasant reading if your name's Mo Diame... or Shola Ameobi and Moussa Sissoko - two Newcastle players of recent past - for that matter.
