"Everybody knows him from when he was a player - he was a tough guy. He has asked everyone to enjoy themselves in training and in the game.
"You must take pleasure when you play football because it is fantastic to play.
"Everybody knows Newcastle is a big club. We have, I think, the best fans in England and they don't want to see Newcastle in the bottom three or in The Championship.
"It's why he came in for the last eight games, and I think if we keep going like that we will stay [up]."
