Ryan Taylor: “Going into games as underdogs is maybe a little bit easier.
“When we played Chelsea it was maybe a bit of a freak result because they hardly concede any at Stamford Bridge no matter what team they put out. Maybe on the night they were thinking they’d roll over us.
“We went there with a pretty similar team that played against Accrington, just one or two older lads. We knew what we were capable of.
“I’m sure the lads who played at Chelsea will be knocking on Chris’s door at the minute to try and get a game considering we lost the last one.
“We haven’t spent the money Man City have but we’ve got enough bodies.
“We’re still waiting on big Sol (Campbell) to play in the first team in the league.
“You can look at our squad on paper and there’s some ability there. But we’ve done it without spending too much money.
“The season’s only young. It just depends on the character of the players. We’re lucky because we’ve got 25 people who’ve sort of got the same character. Everyone’s up for a laugh and everyone wants to keep the team spirit going.
“There’s no egos, no one who walks around as though they’re the ones. It’s a good place to be at the minute.”
