A post from "Milburn's Last Stand" - "Causing your own misery"
Some fans are the instigators of their own misery with the football clubs they profess to love through thick and thin.
What some of you want is a mystery in terms of what's acceptable to those who continually moan about their own club no matter what situation arises.
Some of you have got yourselves into such a tizzy that you just can't or are not willing to look past the bad stuff that happens with just about all football clubs.
This forum is becoming a deserted place with no craic because far too many of you are so negative about the club as a whole it's beyond belief.
Some of you go from worshipping players to calling them garbage and gutless at the first sight of a run of bad games.
Saying stuff like, "oh that's it, I'm never putting money into this club again" or, "Ashley can go and I'd rather us go into lower leagues or admin as long as we are rid of him."
Cr@p like this. Some of you then start spouting off that we don't want to win anything and the cups are a nothing so we won't be going into them. We will be going into them to win...but the serious issues come first which is our premier league stance with the cups being a bonus by using fringe players, because the cups have been demeaned to such an extent that they actually merit only a second thought. That doesn't mean that any team we put out is going out to lose.
Just look at Sunderland. They went all out to win a cup and it looks like it's gonna cost them their league status, because they used their first team players to go for it.
Man City won it because they can afford to put out a second string throughout the competition that is real good quality to battle that out.
We are not at that stage where we can put out a second string of top quality...we're only just topping off getting a solid first team and as we have seen, if you lose just a few players, we struggle.
It's been said time and time again but this club was in a real bad place not so long ago, make no mistake about that.
We don't have a Sheikh or a Russian multibillionaire cash on the hip owner to fast track us.
We do have a billionaire that can ensure that we go about our business and gain over time. Unfortunately too many people keep harping on about the 5 year plan thinking the 5 year plan was to have us playing champions league football.
The 5 year plan was to have us financially stable. It's took slightly longer but we are there now. We are finacially stable and we can really push on from here, I'm certain of that.
The time to genuinely whine and whinge is when the summer is over if you don't see any major spending with quality new faces brought in. I'll even whinge and whine with you if it doesn't happen.
I'm 1000% certain it will happen and your focus as fans should be on looking forward to that and putting our bad form and luck down to football being football. The rough and the smooth.
We are 9th. We can finish 8th. I'll say it again. We are 9th and we can finish 8th.
Now let's add all the games to that what everyone slated the club for when we lost them, through no heart or bad tactics and add the points to the league.
We would be challenging for the title, so get a phucking grip. We are Newcastle united. We don't have the quality of the bigger teams. We are playing catch up on those who've had their structure in place for a number of years. We are still gaining ours.
If you really take a good look at the squad, you will realise that there isn't a massive amount of work to be done, it's a simple case of adding a few quality players to compliment it, plus replacing the ones that are shipped out for whatever reason.
It saddens me that Newcastle fans always think of the worst. There isn't a match that I go into where I never believe we will gain nothing. I always have hope no matter who's out injured. I always have that thought that the players will step up and do the business.
Does it always work? Of course it doesn't...but if I went to the match with an attitude of, oh we are sh1t and the team has no heart and the manager is tactically sh1t and the owner is after destroying the club...blah blah phucking blah... then I would cease to be a fan. I would cut ties instead of simply spending my time phucking moaning at every turn and bringing up any snippet of news from anywhere as long as it's about slagging off the club.
It phucking narks the absolute phuck out of me to think we have fans like this.
Yeah yeah, we all love a little moan about players not giving 100% and fair enough, that's fine. The problem is, it isn't just that is it. If Pardew gets his tactics wrong, he's slated. If he gets them right, he barely gets a mention, with some simply ready to say, "ahhh he was lucky and it was the players and not him."
If he does a post match interview, he's just a lying d1ck... if he doesn't admit he's sh1t or his team is sh1t.
Seriously some of you expect him to actually say this instead of trying not to fan the flames. Do you think he's oblivious to it all?
We are 9th, so that means all those teams below us must have a sh!t owner and manager who's tactically stupid and a team full of gutless cowards that are equally sh1t. Is this right or are Newcastle simply so special, we are simply entitled to play fantastic football and challenge at the top whilst the other teams all fight for scraps.
Phucking pack it is and stop frigging moaning at every opportunity and get behind your club and team.
Whine when you're at the bottom with no hope.
The ones who were brought up on the real sh1t football will see this as a breath of fresh air in contrast.
Those who live off of the entertainers days will be very hard to please at anytime, because once you feed these people mind steak, you won't get them to accept a bowl of mind porrige.
Seriously, I read this forum more than I ever post now and it's phucking dire and depressing and someof you gits needs a head scrub to wipe this doom sh1t out of your heads.
