The 560-mile round trip is one thing, but now TV schedulers have moved the game to a Saturday evening kick-off – meaning there are no trains back to the North East available after the final whistle.
The last train to Newcastle from London after the game is at 8.30pm, but to catch it supporters would need to leave the match at half-time.
The game will kick off at 5.30pm on Saturday, September 26, which will be shown live on the BBC.
