The Newcastle skipper Scott Parker has gone to Germany for surgery to repair a hernia.The 26-year-old midfielder will obviously miss the club's final game of the season at Watford on Sunday, but is expected to be fit to return for pre-season.
He joins winger Damien Duff on the injury list who had surgery on a foot injury last Friday.
