We know all about the frustrations of second-choice goalkeeper Steve Harper. But that is nothing to that of United's third-choice goalkeeper Tony Caig. According to the press this morning the ex-Charlton player is considering quitting St James's Park at the end of the season for Canadian club Vancouver Whitecaps.
The Whitehaven-born keeper has not had a sniff since he signed from Hibernian in 2002. Apart from his loan spell at Oakwell where he played three league matches two years ago, he has not played a league game in English football since his one and only appearance for Charlton Athletic six years ago.
