Some Under-23 players look to have been handed a chance to train with the first team.
Given that Newcastle have yet to make a summer signing, while some of their squad have been afforded additional time off, too, a few Under-23 players appear to have been handed a chance to train with the first-team squad.
Goalkeeper Nathan Harker, midfielder Mo Sangare and forward Thomas Allen were all pictured arriving at the club's Benton Training Centre.
While Harker has been involved in first-team sessions before, the other two have been handed an opportunity by their former Under-23 head coach Dawson.
