But players, too, have millionaire lifestyles and Toon strikers Michael Owen and club captain Shearer have a combined fortune of £52m, according to football magazine Four Four Two.
Owen is at number three in the list with £30m while Shearer is five places behind with £22m, why manager Graham Souness is worth £5m.
Newcastle chairman Freddie Shepherd and his brother Bruce are quoted with a combined value of £40m. Mr Shepherd is placed at number 45.
The players' table was led by David Beckham whose contract with Spanish giants Real Madrid and various sponsorship deals have seen him amass a £75m fortune.
