Pardew has confirmed that Newcastle United have a "strategy" for when their players who return from international duty, particularly Ivory Coast midfielder Cheick Tiote and Senegal star Papiss Cisse.
Alan Pardew (talking on Sky Sports): "We would be naive not have concerns.
"We have a strategy for when they return and making sure they and their families are taken care of.
"They are essential to us and our doctor has looked into the problems that might arise and also protection for them, and to make sure we do our very best to help them."
Morocco have officially pulled out of hosting the 2015 African Cup Of Nations over fears that the Ebola epidemic will "bring the disease to the country".
The government had asked for an alternative – either to postpone the tournament to 2016 or to cancel entirely and face the consequences, but the CAF governing body for the sport failed to respond and they have been forced to pull out entirely.
Morocco statement: “Since CAF rejected all our requests and suggestions then we are forced to withdraw from hosting AFCON 2015 with immediate effect to preserve the safety of our citizens and for that we are prepared to take any consequences that comes with our actions”.
What does that mean to the tournament, and will Newcastle's Cheick Tiote, Papiss Cisse and Sammy Ameobi go?
Newcastle are powerless to stop them!
