Charlie Austin is in high demand following the relegation of QPR and the former Burnley man is expected to leave the club this summer.
The Daily Mail are reporting that Newcastle United are desperate to land Austin and are now willing to pay the £15 million the R’s are demanding for their star man.
The paper also report that Leicester City are set to make an improved bid for the forward, having seen their initial £12 million move rejected.
Crystal Palace and West Ham United have previously been linked with cash plus player moves for Austin.
