Rob Elliot (talking to the Chronicle): “I have been playing the last couple of games with a slight thigh strain.
“Unfortunately it just went. Hopefully it’s not too bad.
“I will go for a scan and fingers crossed it’s as short as possible, in terms of recovery.
“To beat Chelsea with the injuries we’ve had shows how together we are as a club.
“It was just hard work and we stuck to our game plan.
“We knew we’d have good possession so we tried to limit them down the middle.
“They have a fantastic striker in Costa and Hazard too. You could name every single one of them really.
“It was just a case of limiting their opportunities and defending together then taking our chance to hit them on the break.
“When you have Papiss on the pitch you always have a chance. Papiss does what he does best.
“He sniffs chances out and it’s a talent you can’t coach.”
