Dan Gosling was today undergoing a medical ahead of a move to Crystal Palace.
The Newcastle United midfielder has agreed terms on a move to Selhurst Park, making him the fourth Toon player to leave the club this summer, following Danny Simpson, Steve Harper and James Perch.
Gosling joined Newcastle three years ago from Everton but the 23-year-old’s career at the club has been beset by injuries, and United have allowed him to leave and make a fresh start at the newly-promoted club.
It's a shame it hasn't worked out for the lad at Newcastle, because Stuart Pearce said two years ago: "Gosling will play for England one day soon, and I'm sure he will be the next Newcastle player to get a full cap."
