Chris Hughton: "Yes, it still remains the same. The biggest priority here is getting the additional players into the squad that we need to get in.
"We have always felt if we are able to do that, then we will be okay.
"The only thing to read into it is that what we would like to do is keep the quality individuals here.
"We have never seen Steve Harper as a number two, we have seen him as a goalkeeper who is pushing for a number one spot.
"What he has had in front of him, unfortunately for him, is a top goalkeeper in Shay Given, who has served this club very, very well.
"There is nothing to read into it. All we wanted to do was retain his services for another three years and we have been able to do that, and we are delighted with that.
"One thing we have always been comfortable with is if we can get our key players on the park and in the squad, we are quite happy with that.
"What we need are two quality players who are going to boost the squad we have."
