Jonas Gutierrez: "We didn't have the ball – if you don't have the ball, you can't put in crosses.
"All we could do was work hard and try to win the ball. If we don't keep the ball, it's difficult to make crosses.
"That's normal against a good team. This is a team playing in Europe with big players in the team and it happens in football.
"It's normal not to have the ball in games such as this, and that can make putting in crosses impossible.
"We had to defend. When you get the ball against a team like Spurs, you need to keep it and play well.
"I can only say it again, it was against a good team, and it was hard for us because they kept the ball.
"We have some sad feelings, but we know we played against a quality team full of quality players, and we were away from home, so it was difficult for us.
"They are a Champions League team, so that means something."
