The Newcastle attacker signed on at Ibrox in January as part of a controversial loan deal alongside Shane Ferguson, Remie Streete, Kevin Mbabu and Gael Bigirimana.
It was controversial given Mike Ashley’s growing involvement at Rangers and criticism from fans over the board at that time.
While Ferguson, Streete, Mbabu and Bigirimana made just three appearances between them, Vuckic was outstanding in a Gers shirt.
He scored eight goals in 19 games for Rangers and was a huge part of the team which made it all the way to the Premiership play-off final before being denied promotion by Motherwell.
Vuckic could still return to the club, with reports suggesting Newcastle are set to release him and a number of players this summer.
