The on-loan Newcastle United midfielder was shown a yellow card by referee Greg Aitken for diving inside the opposition area late on in the 1-1 draw at Almondvale.
McCall backed Aitken's call and revealed that he has warned Vuckic over his future conduct on the pitch.
"I did look back at it and I did think it was a dive," the Rangers boss admitted.
"I spoke to him afterwards and told him that if he wants to dive get to the swimming baths, that’s the only place for diving. I don’t like seeing it.
"Everyone always says if your man gets away with it and you get a penalty, then is the manager going to get you into trouble?
"He’d overrun the ball, and he did expect contact to come in. It’s not always cut and dry dives.
"You can see him slowing down, and if you’re expecting a challenge and a leg to come out and it doesn’t... you see it at all levels of football. You see it on Match of the Day on Saturday night.
"People go down, expecting a challenge that doesn’t come and it’s a blatant dive, but we don’t like diving."
