Officers have also released more CCTV images of people they want to question after trouble erupted at Newcastle Central Station last month.
Raids took place across Sunderland, Newcastle and Gateshead yesterday, bringing the number of people arrested to 27.
The 16 people arrested last week in relation to the disorder are on bail.
The arrests come after police claims that last month's trouble was fuelled by Newcastle and Sunderland hooligans who had arranged a fight.
