We're not putting any blame on Shearer's shoulders, after all, every player he has suggested signing Freddy has ignored. But I'd love to know the answer to the question.
Does the position actually mean something, or is it just cosmetic to show the fans he is still in the background ready to be wheeled out to put a smile on the faces of the fans in times of trouble?
