Newcastle United have launched their half season ticket with a new PR campaign in order to bolster crowds in 2016.
The thing is United are still streets ahead of many of their Premier League rivals with an average gate of 48,340 ... but Ashley includes ALL season ticket holders in that figure even though many are not turning up.
Only Man United, Arsenal and Man City have had bigger gates, but Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea (like Man United, Arsenal and Man City) give their figures on fans who ATTEND the game.
Newcastle’s lowest attendance has been recorded as 47,006 against Norwich, but many sources suggest the actual TRUTH was more like 42,000.
Last season the fan's boycott in April against Spurs saw Ashley 'doctor' the figures then too.
In a bid to bring the capacity back up to a sell out on a match day, Newcastle have now launched a new half-season package.
A photo of Gini Wijnaldum has been used along with a new slogan of: “United we are strong”, while the half season ticket deal reads: “Halved but undivided”.
Adult season tickets are available in the Family Area for just £192 while under-18s can get a deal for just £53.
A season ticket in the Leazes End for the second half of the campaign costs £304 while a Platinum Club season ticket for adults is £486.
