Home fans can pay £12 (as opposed to the usual admittance fee of £25) if they are purchased before the Arsenal home game. The price for children will be five pounds. It is thought Toon fans will pay £15. 

Obviously this is a very unattractive fixture for both clubs,  with the winner of the tie guaranteed a quarter-final spot and the very real chance of actually winning the competition and qualifying for European competition next season. But the tie is shown on TV and the club fears a drop in attendance.

For people unable to purchase their tickets in advance entry at the turnstiles is available on the night for fifteen pounds.
