Officials at the Football Association have been alerted to the incident - although action cannot be taken unless an official complaint is made or the matter included in the referee's report.
FA: "If there were anti-Muslim chants at this match it is something we will take very seriously. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards all types of racist or anti-Muslim chanting. It's totally unacceptable within the game."

The Egyptian international has described Mike Dean's decision to caution him for making a gesture towards the visiting fans as 'ridiculous' and 'frustrating'.
