Pardew, who joined Palace after departing St James’ Park earlier this season, wants the Magpies stopper to follow him to Selhurst Park.
And according to The Sun, there’s a good chance of the deal going through as Krul is keen to move to pastures new.
The Dutchman has reportedly recently changed agents in a bid to get a summer switch and with the Premier League’s top clubs looking elsewhere to solve their goalkeeping issues, the door could be wide open for the Eagles.
Krul, 27, is said to be earning £28,000-a-week which by Premier League standards is relatively low and Palace co-chairman Steve Parish is thought to be willing to push the boat out to secure his signature.
