The ex-Newcastle United and Tottenham fullback is on the lookout for a new club ... as he has been since Kevin Keegan let him leave St James' Park back in May.

But after interest from Watford died when he didn't impress in a trial, he returned to Dublin and seems to have been sitting by the phone.

The Republic of Ireland international has been linked with a return to action under his former Ireland boss Mick McCarthy at Wolves, but the Midlands club seem to know nothing about it.
