He told Sky Sports News: "I can confidently say there is absolutely no truth in the speculation linking David with a move to Newcastle United.
"David is gearing up for his 100th game for England and we are very proud and excited for him.
"We have had no contact from any representatives for Newcastle United, but I recognise that there will always be speculation surrounding him.
"Every indication I have received from David is that he and his family are enjoying life in America and in Los Angeles.
"He wouldn't be put out on loan to another club - that is not an option - and David is not for sale at any price.
"David is not someone we are grooming and looking to sell on."
