The Spaniard had hoped the re-opening of the transfer window would let him engineer a move back to Spain, and that will happen if any decent offer is made. But Roeder says he needs him to fill the bench.
Roeder: "At one session last week, we had four senior players training. The other nine or 10 were academy boys. That was Newcastle United last Wednesday. So it's hardly likely we will let anyone go."
