And, although Krul insists his ambition is to play with a club in the Champions League, he could very well take up Alan Pardew's interest.
Krul said he was "devestated" when Pardew left Newcastle, and his form hit an all time low when the manager left in January.
Pardew is hoping to land himself a goalkeeper in this summer’s transfer window to compete with 36-year old Argentine Julian Speroni, and sees Krul as the ideal addition.
Krul still has two years remaining on his £35,000-per-week contract but might seemingly welcome a reunion with his former boss.
