Paolo Di Canio dreams of one day being offered the England job. The outspoken Swindon Town manager led his side to promotion in 2011-12 and they now currently sit fourth in League One.
His impressive record has brought links to the vacant Bolton job but, speaking to the Daily Mirror, the Italian revealed much loftier ambitions.
The Italian went on to say that, despite his desire to manage the Three Lions, he would not sing the national anthem.
Paolo Di Canio: "The dream is, once I am well known here and settled in this environment I love, to be the manager of England.
"I dream to be the foreign hero who leads England to victory after so many decades.
"The anthem is important for the people but I am Italian. Of course I would not sing the anthem, it would be disrespectful.
"Maybe it will never happen, because they'll never give it to me."
