The 20-year-old Scouser is a product of the Academy, joining the club in 1997 and working his way through the Under-17s and Under-19s.
The right-sided player is now a regular in the reserves and has scored twice in nine appearances so far this season, but is still waiting to make his senior debut.
After signing the contract Orr commented: “I am absolutely delighted to have signed the new contract.
“I love it on Tyneside and hope to keep making progress on the pitch at Newcastle United.”
