The England Under-18s duo were transfer listed following the acrimonious FA Premier League enquiry into bullying at the Academy, which eventually cleared coaches Kenny Wharton and Peter Beardsley of any wrongdoing.
Now, despite interest from Manchester United, they have agreed to join Forest for an undisclosed fee, signing three-year contracts much to the delight of the club's Academy director Nick Marshall.
“We regard it as a real coup to have secured the services of two players who are clearly held in such high regard,” Marshall told the club’s official website.
“They see Nottingham Forest as a football club where their careers can progress. They were wanted by a number of Premiership clubs and they could possibly have secured better financial packages elsewhere.
“But they believe that joining Forest will enhance their long-term prospects. They are desperate to play football and really want to do well for this club.”
