In the aftermath of Brett Emerton’s move to Blackburn Rovers several newspapers claimed that the club were considering renewing their efforts to sign the Republic of Ireland international.
But Freddy Shepherd told the Evening Chronicle: "We are not interested in signing Stephen Carr from Spurs."
