Sky Sports News and a number of newspapers claimed at the weekend that the Swedish striker was in talks with United about signing a pre-contract agreement that would see him join the club in the summer.
Rob Jansen claims though that his client will postpone a decision about his future until the summer.
"The Newcastle story is nonsense," he told The Sunday Sun. "There has never been any contact between us and Newcastle - or any other club.
"Henrik will decide at the end of the season what he is doing and not before.
"I don't know where these stories are coming from. Someone, somewhere, is losing their mind."
